This privacy Policy governs the processing of your personal data by HEDGREN CREATIONS NV, Grote Steenweg 50, 2550 Kontich - Belgium when you visit HEDGREN E-Store.

HEDGREN respects your privacy and strives to conform to the rules rules under applicable EU Regulation.

When you visit HEDGREN Website and E-Store, HEDGREN CREATIONS NV, Grote Steenweg 50, 2550 Kontich is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

At any time, you may contact us via E-store@hedgren.com with any privacy question or concerns you may have (see also point 8 hereafter “What rights do you have?”)

HEDGREN reserves the right to change, modify or amend this Privacy Policy at its own discretion, or change, modify or withdraw access to the E-Store Website at any time and/or without notice. HEDGREN will notify you of such change or modification by posting an updated version of this Privacy Policy on the E-store Website.

 

2. WHAT SORT OF PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?
The personal data we collect, use and disclose generally include your name, email address, telephone number, address and payment card details.
Under no circumstances shall HEDGREN sell your personal data.

HEDGREN uses your personal data for a number of reasons, among others :
-for the purpose of registering with HEDGREN
-for the purpose of visiting and using of the E-Store Site to enhance your browsing experience
-for the purpose of subscribing to E-store services, e-mail notifications and/or newsletters
-in relation to any transactions carried out between you and HEDGREN on the E-Store Site, including information relating to any purchases you make

HEDGREN may share its product news and offerings with you via e-mail. In such case and in any direct marketing activities, HEDGREN makes sure to obtain your prior consent, as required by law. You can opt-in to receiving emails from us or opt out by clicking on the unsubscribe link we include in all our marketing emails.You can update your preferences at any time.

 

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
We only retain your personal data as long as required to achieve the purposes listed on point 3.
How long we need your data depends on what we are using it for, whether that is to provide services to you, for our own legitimate interests or to comply with the law.
When there is no longer a customer, legal or business need for us to keep your personal data, we will either delete them securely or anonymise them.
If you ask us to stop sending marketing emails, we will keep a note of your personal information and your request so that we can make sure that you are excluded from the emails we send to our clients for marketing purpose.

Your personal data are shared with a limited number of parties such as yourself and our own service providers.
In order to process payments and prevent and detect fraud, we process payment card data through our payment card and fraud management services provider.
Concerning our different service providers, we will make sure that our suppliers respect your personal data and comply with data protection regulations.
If requested, we will share your personal data with government and/or judicial authorities.

If we do transfer data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will make sure that it is protected in the same way as if it were being used in the EEA., by:
-transfering the data to a non-EEA country which has privacy laws at least as protective as those within the EEA
-putting in place a contract with the recipient stipulating that the recipient shall protect the data to the same standards as required within the EEA or
-transferring it to organisations which are part of the privacy Shield which sets out the standards data to be sent between the US and the European Countries.

 

8. WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?
You have the right to request access to all personal data processed by us insofar it pertains to you. We reserve the right to refuse multiple requests for access that are clearly submitted for causing nuisance or harm to us or others.
You have the right to ask that any personal data pertaining to you which are inaccurate, are corrected free of charge. If a request for correction is submitted, such request must be accompanied of proof of the flawed nature of the data for which correction is asked.
You have the right to request that personal data pertaining to you will be deleted if they are no longer required in light of the purposes outlined above.
However, you need to keep in mind that a request for deletion will be evaluated by us against:
-our own legitimate interest
-legal or regulatory obligations , administrative or judicial orders which may contradict such deletion

When you get in touch, we will come back to you as soon as possible within one month. If your request is more complicated, it may take a little longer to come back to you but we will come back to you within two months of your request.
